There is a demand for traditional signwriting courses, the proof is that these traditional signwriting classes have been running for five years with Freestyle Sign Studio and this tear we’ve added gold leaf application.

Students seek to learn the skills of traditional hand  lettering as there is no longer a qualification in traditional signwriting.  The only supporters of traditional signwritng is ‘Letterheads’  an international fraternity that promotes traditional handwriting skills and promotes classes and workshops.

At our traditional signwriing course  we teach brush skills, paint control, understanding the 3 basic fonts – Classic Roman, Egyptian block and Copper Plate Script.

This year workshops have also focused on Gold Leaf application and creative script.
